Stars unite for Japan.

It’s Friday the 13th but there’s nothing bad about this video.  A long list of Hollywood A-list stars have come together to create this video and offer support to Ken Watanabe’s United for Japan.  Hawaii’s own Jake Shimabukuro plays the cover of “Amazing Grace” for the background music.  If you can read the actual messages that the stars hold in their hands it’s quite touching.

The stars in this video include:  (in order of appearance) Aisha Tyler, William Shatner, Jamie Lee Curtis, Apolo Ohno, John Travolta, Jennifer Morrison, John Legend, Katy Perry, Masi Oka, Rob Marshall, Sharon Lawrence, Richard Lewis, Paula Abdul, Hideki Matsui, Steph Song, Amaury Nolasco, Robert Patrick, Maggie Q, Philp Seymour Hoffman, Ayako Fujitani, Jonah Hill, Julian McMahon, Ellen DeGeneres, Mikael Hafstrom, Muramasa Kudo, Cobie Smulders, Jake Shimabukuro, Zoe Saldana, Cillian Murphy, Cameron Diaz, Matt Damon, Charlize Theron, Mark Wahlberg, Leonardo Dicaprio, and Clint Eastwood unite for Ken Watanabe’s earthquake relief effort.

The unbelievable (?) David Beckham.

While on shoot for a Diet-Pepsi commercial the camera guy picked up this footage of David Beckham screwing around with a soccer ball.  My bet…this is special effects at it’s best.  I’ve seen David play in person and I must say his passing and shooting with his right foot is incredibly accurate when he has the time to set up, but as good as he is, this is just impossible!   But David’s got nothing on this guy….

Interesting new take on online advertising.  I still say that it’s the content that will draw people into the ad.  But certainly, the interactivity and the enhanced features make this ad medium the “future” of online advertising.
